Mailing lists and RPG'S

Hello everyone, and welcome to our very first blog post! I never really know how to start these things off, so I am just going to jump straight into it.

Mailing lists - why do we have one and why should you sign up?

Both excellent questions, if I may say so myself. To answer the first part of that question, our mailing list is the best way for us to tell you about our release schedule, announce any events that might be happening and share lots of cool information about our upcoming books and works in progress. So, for the second questions, you should sign up if you want to a) know when our new books are coming out, b) want to know about our super exciting news when we have it and c) want to get exclusive previews on our works in progress. There is also a free short story included in the welcome email when you sign up!

We only send out one email a month, so there is no need to fear getting spammed. We also promise to never use your details for anything other than the mailing list or sell your details to anyone else, because that just sucks.

In other news

We will soon be play testing the tabletop RPG system for Caer Innar! While things might change quite a bit between now and the finished product (yay for play testing and finding all the bugs, boo for lots of probable editing) it's a mixed dice ruleset, using everything from D1 to D100 and designed to be much more focused on storytelling and adventuring rather than an endless series of dungeon crawls and fights. Combat can get lethal pretty quickly, and there are systems in place to limit power gaming and min/maxing on stats so this should support a more narrative driven gaming style. While in closed Alpha right now, we will eventually be opening it up to an open Beta test, so watch this space for more details if you think you would be interested in giving this a try!
